I went to one of those asian nail doing places to get my nails trimmed as they were resembling claws. Now they're short and stupid and boy-like. Moral of the story... unless you're a boy, trim your own nails. I blame asia. |

First of all, he is the sweetest man ever and I love him!
Emotionally I am better, the baby is due in a few weeks. It's draining. emotionally and physically, I feel drained all the time.
I now work 6 days a week and it's awesome.
My car got a WOF today.
I'm in love with the Dresden Dolls.
I feel like I miss a lot of people. I need to write more letters. It's hard not having the internet connected on my computer. It's good because the internet is bull-shit but at the same time, I have not spoken to Ry or Simon or heard from Chris in a while, and that makes me sad and sort of lonely for them. I need to be a more pro-active pen pal.

Yesterday I turned 23. It was a good day so far as I can remember. I was given many neat gifts by many neat people. My dad gave me a surprise visit and kind of blew my plans, but it was worth it. I drank tequilla again. I saw so many people.

So I guess some of you may have heard that Kurt Vonnegut died on the 11th of April 2007. He was 84 years old and died after suffering irreversible brain injuries after a fall several weeks earlier. Vonnegut was a Humanist and so I guess I can't speak of any God in his life, wanting him to do great things in heaven. So what can I say.... A little boy threw a stone into an area of water at Cape Cod and at the very moment when the stone pierced through the surface tension of the sparkling blanket, Vonnegut was gone. Nice. |

Stuff in Auckland is going well. I have been working as a relief teacher but am currently looking for something a bit more permanant, something with a bit more of a routine to it. I have some intervieews this week for various jobs. Hopefully things work out well.
I had a bit of a set back on Saturday which was resolved and I'm glad it happened. It was yet another occasion where I was able to prove my happiness as being well deserved and worthwhile.
The internet cafe smells like paint.
I move into a new flat in about 3 weeks with Alex, Cat and Tim. I look forward to living with them.

These places are full of nerd boys. It's amazing! Everyones hanging out playing WoW and talking gamer. I love every minute of it!
So what's new... Katheirne and I moved to Auckland. Yup. I have a new friend group and they are awesome. I may be moving in with them in a few months time. Have to see if all goes to plan.
The flat is good. The flatmates are good. All is fine.
I'm working as a relief teacher. It's pretty sweet.
Go the the next Craftwerk in May to buy some badges off my friend Greg. His jewellery is awesome!

Things are great.
I have been seeing someone who is fantastic. It's nice to be around a boy who dresses way better than me! His shoes cost more than my entire wardrobe full of clothing.
Katherine went to the Mars Volta on Monday night. I hung out with Alex and Cat and I got pretty drunk. They weren't drunk. I now have a huge bump on my forehead. I always band my head while in a drunken state!
Katherine and I are seeking employment.
Almost out of Daves homebrew.
Made many new friends.
Flatmates are awesome!

| Weekend dates |

The week has gone quickly with lots of drunken evenings and silly behaviour and nothing much else to show for it. I met a boy last night who is lovely. He will be attending our party tomorrow night which should make for an interesting time. I should be meeting up with him later tonight if all goes to plan.
Jonn is staying at our place this weekend and I am really enjoying having him around. He is refreshingly honest and amazing!
Last night we went to a show at the Kings Arms. Emma came up and it was so nice to see her again. She is so much fun!
The suckiest thing about having our party tomorrow night is that it is on the same night as Carolines returning 'do' and we are facing off with Simon for party friends. I want to go to his party and I wish he was coming to ours. It's a shame!
Alex from the Lastimes never answers his phone if he is watching a movie.
Katherine and I have been walking all over the place. Our exercise routines are still in place and we are still getting as fit as we can without having to quit smoking or daytime drinking. I figure the weight I put on from drinking will be worked off with the exercise. I have lost 5kg so far. It's fantastic.
Tonight we have caught up with Mikel, Seth and Stevie so far. Our other flatmate moves in tomorrow. I look forward to the change in the atmosphere. Katherine, Sean and I have all got a bit too comfortable with each other and it's time (after the short week) to stir things up again to keep things interesting.
My classes start on Tuesday. I can't wait. I get so bored doing nothing. At the same time it is fantastic. The thing is that I get quite irritable when I am doing nothing all day every day. I like the changes.
For 3 people we make a lot of dishes.
I understand that this entry is dull to everyone except for me. Whatever. Who cares!
I am happier now than I have been all year. Tomorrow the Chinese New Year celebrations begin and I get to start again. I can't wait! |

Last night was incredible! I got incredible! It was yowzer!
Jesse and I arrived far too early and so went to the PR Bar so I could get drunk and silly. There I recieved some weird txts from someone who had clearly had his phone stolen by some stupid friend who was trying to get me into trouble. What a lame thing to do! Once that was done we went down to join Jonn and some of his friends for some Sheesha. It was mean!
And we spend some time at Family looking pretty and getting lovely.
And so we walked some streets and some of this and that was taken and we eventually ended up at Stevie Kayes house. He is looking all new and bright and beautiful with his delicious new hair and glasses.
We danced the night away and I was hit on by a Russian dude who was very difficult to understand. Jesse was hit on by a ginge. Jonn was hit on by everyone.... I think everyone wants his nuts.

All in all a quality night. I had a rediculous amount of people ask me about the Oversights. I didn't have to drive so I got some sleep until my stalker started calling me at some rediculous hour this morning. He has called 5 times today. Rude cunt!
